HEIC to PDF Converter

Put iPhone photos into a single PDF, one photo per page, in the order you choose. The PDF is made in your browser, so your photos are never uploaded.

Your files never leave your device. How privacy works

How to convert HEIC photos to PDF

  1. Choose your iPhone photos, or drag them onto the box above. JPG and PNG pictures can go in the same PDF.
  2. Put them in order with the Up and Down buttons. Pick a page size and margin if you want something other than the standard.
  3. Download the PDF. Every photo gets its own page.

Paperwork photographed on an iPhone

An iPhone saves photos as HEIC, a format many offices, schools and online forms will not accept. A PDF is accepted almost everywhere, and keeps several pages together in one file.

Photograph each page of the document, add the photos here in order, and send the PDF. Because the photos never leave your device, this is a safe way to handle ID documents, bank letters and signed forms.

How big will the PDF be?

A PDF cannot hold HEIC pictures, so each photo is turned into a high-quality JPG inside the PDF. A full-size iPhone photo adds about 1 to 4 MB.

If a form has a size limit, make the photos smaller first: Compress Image to KB turns each photo into a small JPG, and JPG to PDF then puts those into one PDF.

Pages that fit the paper

A4 and US Letter are the standard paper sizes, and the right choice if the PDF may be printed. Each page turns upright or sideways to suit its photo, unless you fix the direction yourself.

Fit to picture gives every page the shape of its photo with no white border, which looks best on a screen.

Questions and answers

Is it free?
Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many photos you use it for.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. The PDF is put together by your own browser, on your own device. You can check: make one PDF, switch off your internet connection, then make another. It still works.
Will photos taken sideways come out the right way up?
Yes. An iPhone records which way it was held, and each photo is placed on its page the right way up.
How many photos can I put in one PDF?
There is no set limit. Very long documents depend on the memory of your device; a few dozen phone photos is normally fine.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. It works in any current browser on iPhone, Android, Windows, Mac and Linux. Nothing needs to be installed.
